Fundraiser for the McCarty family

As many of you know, Timberview High School lost one of our coaches Sunday night. Cody McCarty, a 29 year old father of 2 young girls (Jaya and Laynie), passed away unexpectedly. Cody’s wife, Leyla McCarty, teaches at Asa Low. The support we’ve received from the people of MISD and this community has been amazing. I want to thank each of you for what you and your schools have done for the McCarty family and for Timberview.

It's Time!

Silver Spurs Dad

Dads, here’s part of this week’s challenge… we need 20 volunteers this Friday night at the football game to move 10 large props into position for the on-field performance at R.L. Anderson Stadium. There may also be an opportunity to help move the props around when the drill team practices with the band on Thursday. Please let me know if and when you are available and I’ll share more specific information when I know it… thanks in advance for helping out… it will be worth the effort!

The Silver Spurs are selling Bronco bracelets for $2. Come by our t-shirt booth at the football games to pick one up. Also, remember to support the Silver Spurs in October by visiting Chilis on October 4th and Johnny Carinos on Oct. 20th. You are there supporting the Silver Spurs. Your support is appreciated!
