Legacy Silver Spurs

Football Season 2019

The time is here! It is officially football season in Texas. The Spurs are super excited to be performing at halftime games on Thursday (JV) and Friday (Varsity) nights. To start the season off, both teams did flawless streamer routines, and are now moving on to kick and pom. Two notable events that the girls are counting down to, include homecoming and senior night. Homecoming time for the pomp and circumstance of the mums and sparkles, and senior night as a rite of passage.

MOVE Camp 2019

Five schools, nine teams, one district. MOVE Camp is a time where for one week, all the girls can get together and share one common passion. The girls learned 2–3 dances a day, from our MISD College Assistants , who were all alumni of different high schools within the district. The routines learned at camp include football routines and pep rally routines. These routines were learned from former NFL dancers, current collegiate level dancers, and even a Radio City Rockette.

Officer Camp 2019

The year has officially begun! Both the Varsity and JV officers have finished their officer camp and learned many valuable things to better the team this year. Officer camp was held in Mesquite, TX and was put on by Showtime International. The officer lines had to bring in a home routine for evaluation on the first day of camp, Varsity brought in the tryout routine, and JV brought in a spring show favorite, “Do You Love Me” choreographed by Varsity 1st Lieutenant, Kaleah Dees. The girls learned 4 other routines, including one that had to be halfway finished by themselves!
